సొరకాయ వేపుడు ~ Bottle Groud Fry

Ingredients:
Bottle Groud : 1 cup (Sorakaya)
Cumin Seeds : 1 tbs ( Gilakara)
Channa Dal : 1 tbs (Senagalu)
Salt to taste
Oil : 1 tbs
Onions : 1 medium Cut into length wise)
Curry Leaves : 4 to 5 leaves
Cilantro : 2 Bunches (cut into pieces (Kotimeera)
Groundnut powder: 2-3 tbs (Groundnuts should be rosted and then powder it)
Chilli powder : 1tbs (Karam)

Preparation:
Peel the outer skin of the bottle gourd and cut into 2 inch pieces.

Heat a pan with oil and add Channa dal , Cumin seeds , curry leaves.Then add cut Onions to pan. When Onions turn color add the bottle gourd pieces along with salt. Simmer with a lid and cook for 10 mins.

Check to see if the Bottle groud has turned soft. Add the chili powder. Stir well then Cook again for 5 - 7 mins.

When the bottle gourd is cooked well, finally add the ground nut Powder. combine everything and Add Cilantro.

Sorakaya Vepudu (Bottle Grourd fry ) is ready to eat.

It will be good to serve with chapathi .
